(Houston, TX, October 16, 2020)—Houston-based content writing firm RedShift Writers is pleased to announce the launch of The Total Nobody Who Ran for Office and Lost-ish, an essay collection by Silky Joshi Malik that chronicles her 2018 run for United States Congress and the lessons she learned from her experience.

Silky’s run marked the first time an Indian-American woman ran for Texas’ 2nd congressional district. Although she came in third, Silky considers the experience an overall win in terms of the lessons she learned about herself, her friends, her family, and the political process.
